Very solid and stable parasol base - more attractive than it looks in the picture (less spolodgy!) and the handle/wheel combination makes it very easy to move despite the weight. Thank you! (Posted on 16/08/2010)

This is a sturdy base and the wheels make it easy to move. The tubing has only one fixing point unlike the picture and although there are inserts I am going to have to find a plastic tube (drainpipe) to pad out my parasol upright. Overall pleased with my purchase.

After speaking with the manufacturers we are now aware that the product specifications have now changed to a single retaining screw, however this does not affect the quality of the base. This has now been noted on the product description on the website, so thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The Sturdi Plus 40kg parasol base comes with 3 ring adapters which allow you to adjust the parasol base neck from between 38mm and 48mm offering sturdy support to a parasol with a pole of the correct thickness. All the parasols that we stock are ideal for this base and are of a superior quality, which is reflected in the base.
