Have used a number of different bases previously and this one was bought to replace one that had rusted and given up. The Sturdi Plus base is a solid base that will obviously last years. Does what it is supposed to do and does it well. Unfortunately, it cannot control the weather and its use can, therefore, be limited. (Posted on 12/07/2011)

Delivery drivers didn't knock but left it behind fence and when I found it I knew why. Theh had dropped the base and ran. However Parasols Direct were brilliant - I emailed a photo of the base and they replaced immediately. Lovely items and great supplier but a pity about the courier company!

Arrived as described but unfortunately the delivery drivers didnt bother to knock, they dropped the base which broke and beat a hasty retreat! Wasn't happy but Parasols Direct were brilliant they asked for a photo and replaced the item within 48 hours. I've always maintained a Company can be measured by the way it treats customers and resolves issues. In my case I wont hesitate to recommend Parasols Direct. (Posted on 09/09/2010)
